With every new media placement, Suzan French Gennace still feels the same rush of excitement she experienced over 20 years ago when she secured her first major media story. As president of FlackShack, a written communications and marketing consultancy, Suzan and her team create and manage the strategic direction, planning and implementation of global public relations, social media and internal and external communications plans. A published writer and working journalist, Suzan has unique insight into journalists’ interests and needs, and extensive contacts in national and consumer press. She has has secured media coverage in nearly every major print, broadcast and online outlet targeted, been published in a variety of publications and is the author of a case study in the book “Why Smart Executives Fail”. Suzan is a graduate of The Wharton School, with a degree in Marketing and a concentration in Communications. She also attended the Sports, Event and Entertainment Marketing program at New York University’s Management Institute.
