Marybeth is CEO of Berico Technologies, a company that provides data analytics and cloud integration solutions for federal and commercial customers. Berico has two open source and one proprietary software product that enable users to effectively analyze unstructured data from a variety of disparate data sources. Marybeth joined Berico in 2010 and supported the company’s founders with several spin-offs throughout 2011, spawning 5 other successful start-ups in the Mid-Atlantic region. She reset Berico’s strategy to focus on delivering a mix of products and services across both the federal and commercial sectors. Marybeth and her team have successfully grown the company ~50% from its post-spinoff baseline and built a suite of products without outside investment in less than 24 months. Prior to joining Berico, Marybeth was a VP, Strategy and VP, Performance Excellence at BAE Systems, where she supported global initiatives examining new business and acquisition opportunities. She worked on integrating more than a dozen companies acquired in the U.S. from 2003 to 2010. Marybeth started her career at Price Waterhouse, which later became PricewaterhouseCoopers, and later was acquired by IBM. She led a P&L and business development for several Intelligence Community customers for IBM. Marybeth has an MBA in Finance and Operations Management from The Wharton School of Business, and a B.S. in Economics from Harvard University. She lives with her husband and three school-aged children in Great Falls, Virginia.
