Josh Yu is the North American Marketing Consultant for Taiwan Green Trade Project Office (GTPO), a government funded agency under The Ministry of Economic Affairs. His main job is to facilitate collaboration between Taiwanese companies and organizations, and companies overseas in the green space.
An entrepreneur in green technologies, Mr. Yu engages with industries ranging from biodegradable products, LED, solar, and battery storage, to information and communication technology. He helped launch Art Asia Pacific magazine in the US. He has organized international sustainability conferences for Asian Productivity Organization (APO) in Taiwan and Sustainability Summit for NJNY Minority Business Council in NYC. Currently, he is in charge of business development for UrbanLabs.
Mr. Yu holds degrees in law and fine art. He graduated from NYU Tisch School with a master’s degree in the Interactive Telecommunications Program. It was during this time at ITP that he discovered the power of media for promoting social and environmental causes.
