Jill Melnicki is a public relations specialist focused on social good communications and partnerships. She helps people and organizations build credibility, influence public opinion, and solve collective problems. Jill has more than a decade of multi-sector experience promoting and advancing public good initiatives. Most recently, as Public Liaison with the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO), Government of the District of Columbia, she catalyzed community-driven, creative approaches to open government and digital inclusion and built innovation capacity in the local nonprofit sector. She is known for her trailblazing partnerships and engagement work and her inspirational, lean, inclusive, research-driven approach to problem solving. Outside of work, Jill stays active in her local community through mentorship and pro bono consulting. Jill earned a MPP from the College of William & Mary and is a DC area native, the eighth generation in her family born and raised in the Washington region.
