David Adelman is the Vice President of Business Development at Via, establishing global on-demand transportation partnerships. Prior to Via, David led Business Development and Corporate Development at Snagajob, America’s largest marketplace connecting hourly job seekers and employers. David previously founded and led ReelGenie, a venture-backed online video technology company, and Reel Tributes, the nation’s premier producer of high-end personal history films. David received his MBA from the Wharton School, where he majored in Entrepreneurial Management. David graduated as a Palmer Scholar (top 5% of his graduating class) and was selected as Wharton’s McGowan Fellow.
Before Wharton, David was an associate with Charlesbank Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm in Boston. He also worked for the management consulting firm Bain & Company, advising clients in Los Angeles, Australia, and India. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Government, cum laude, from Harvard University, and grew up in Israel where he was the Israeli junior national golf champion.
David is a member of the Young Entrepreneur Council and has been featured in Forbes, FOX News, and other publications. In 2013, he was named one of Bisnow’s “30 Under 40” and was invited to join the CEO organization Mindshare. He serves on the Board of Directors for CHIP of Virginia and on the advisory board of Boston International, a nonprofit he co-founded. He lives in Washington, DC with his wife Melissa, son Griffin, and shih tzu puppy Samson.
