Charles Sills currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Federal Allies Institute, dedicated to developing effective partnerships between Small Businesses/ Diversity Suppliers and large Govt. Prime contractors. He represents the FAI membership as an observer to the White House sponsored Inter-Agency Task Force on Veterans Business Development. Mr. Sills is Vice- President, Govt. Affairs/Federal Contracting for Trillacorpe Construction, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in the architect & engineering, environmental, energy and security sectors. He oversees Trillacorpe’s ‘Mentor-Protégé’ Programs with the General Services Administration, Dept. of Energy and Dept. of Defense, which awarded Trillacorpe the 2010 Nunn-Perry Award for “superior performance in the areas of business growth and return on investment, Government contracting, technical performance and quality management”. Concurrently he runs the Trillacorpe affiliate, FED/Contracting LLC, that assists Small Businesses in gaining access to Government & Military acquisition programs; helps Prime Contractors qualify teammates for project opportunities with mandated Diversity Supplier content; and develops Federal Agency approved Mentor-Protégé partnerships that match national-scope contractors with Veteran & Minority vendors. Mr. Sills is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Council, ACORE’s (American Council on Renewable Energy) Defense & Security Advisory Committee, and the Eurasia Center/Eurasian Business Coalition’s Board of Directors; and serves as Sr. Advisor, Global Partnerships Development for the DwightD. Eisenhower Memorial Commission.
