Aza is a dynamic and collaborative leader with a passion for innovation, using empathy and creative problem solving methods to create powerful customer experiences. She has 12 years of consulting experience using her multi-faceted background in strategy, technology, and human centered design principles to solve complex business challenges while mentoring individuals and enabling organizations. Currently with the Strategic Innovation Group (SIG) at Booz Allen Hamilton, she helps organizations develop their strategic innovation agenda and build a culture of innovation. Prior to joining the SIG, Aza was a Senior Innovation Strategist at Idea Couture – a boutique innovation consulting and experience design firm – where she led multidisciplinary teams through the end-to-end innovation process for product and service design engagements. Before that, she was a Managing Consultant with IBM Global Services where she wore many hats including UX design, information architecture, requirement management, strategic planning & implementation, project & program management for large transformation programs in private and public sector accounts across Canada and the US. Aza holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University, a Master’s in Interactive Telecommunications from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and an MBA from York University’s Schulich School of Business.
